It becomes clearer every day that Facebook is a platform that is constantly decreasing in terms of reach, demographics, interesting content… but more over great and funny people!
While younger people left Facebook for over years now, the reach and advertising capabilities of this platform is still one of the best tools to run highly target campaigns w/o investing thousands of Euros which are partially eaten by some media agency! Namely for smaller brands it remains an affordable solution to run campaigns even on a global level.
In the same time, it becomes more and more evident, that not only younger people have left this channel, but also people you may engage interesting conversation with. I saw it now several time while I came up with an potentially interesting topic for my fans the one willing to make negative and sometime aggressive comments took quickly over the lead and I had to abandon this post… thinking by myself if I should block the user (which I know would be the worst solution ever).
So what is the solution? Put all efforts on Instagram? Using twitter more? Check out if target group of TikTok is maybe older than expected? Or push owned channel with higher quality content but also lower reach?
